Founded in 1995 by the Robb Family and caring friends, the Caitlin Robb Foundation is named in memory of a two-year-old Tempe, Arizona toddler who lost a courageous battle earlier that year against neuroblastoma, the most common extracranial solid-tumor pediatric cancer. Though Caitlin’s time was short, she lived her brief life joyfully and inspired others to do the same. Along with sweet memories for those who knew her, Caitlin left behind a legacy in the hearts of so many to search for improved treatments and cures for all forms of pediatric cancer and to assist children and families forced to battle cancer until those cures are found.
The founders and supporters of the Caitlin Robb Foundation believe in a simple and open approach to fundraising where funds raised are gifted to deserving and carefully underwritten beneficiaries and where Foundation donors are kept fully informed about exactly how their donations are expended.
Since its inception 28 years ago, the Arizona Chapter and the Delaware Valley Chapter, founded in 2000 by long-time “Friend of the Foundation” Jack Jones, have combined to gift over $2.5million to carefully selected children’s cancer research and patient need programs.
The Caitlin Robb Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible.
